Adele’s New Album Coming Soon
In a studio in Malibu, CA, Adele is currently recording her long awaited sophomore album. With this effort, Adele is experimenting with new music, drawing from what she is experiencing herself.
She is not trying to fit into any trend, she just wants to “make good songs.” While touring the US after the success of her debut album 19, she found herself attracted to the style of Alison Krauss, “I really got into country. I think they’re the best songs written, just the emotion and lyrics and the way that they sing them.” Adele says the album has developed a bluesy gospel style and is moving forward with what works.
Her second album is being produced by the legendary Rick Rubin. The album is rumored to be expected in the fall, but no official release date has been announced.
