Adele a VH1 Diva Divine
Adele came out of her respite to be counted among the many divas who appeared on this year’s VH1 Divas 2009 show that aired on September 17th.
The English songstress showcased her talent and her sultry voice that oozed soul as she sang “Hometown Glory” for an appreciative audience. She looked lovely in a simple black dress that matched the subtle elegance of her performance.
Adele was one of several of the young female artists honored at the show. Other memorable performances came from Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson and a duet between Jordin Sparks and Martina McBride. All of these performances, and the show in its entirety, can be viewed online.
